I am a certified EMT. I ran calls full time, worked my way up to operations supervisor, and then into the job I have now: photographing and telling the stories of the crews I used to work beside. That history is in every frame here. I know when to step in and when to disappear, what a real shift looks like, and what is worth photographing. Nothing is staged, nothing would not happen on a normal day, and patient privacy is never in question because I have carried that responsibility myself. Photography and healthcare are the two things I care about most, and this is where they meet.
